    This is a Boulder opal bear from Zuni Pueblo carver, Maxx Laate.  There is a line across the base of this carving that extends 3/4 of the way across the base.  This Boulder Opal is from Australia.  I bought Boulder opal pieces for Maxx to carve so that I can offer these stunning pieces on eBay.   This bear
