I made these out of the same leather I make my belts from, they were cut with a die so they are exactly the same, when folded the leather portion is about 3 inches.  They are 5/8" wide.  These are made from 8-9 oz veg tan Crazy Horse water buffalo leather.   The leather is full grain and veg tanned, this leather has been dyed 2 times each time a different color so it has a great pull up effect. I included a picture of one that is finished. They can be engraved, etc.
