Glover's needles are for sewing leather.  They have a tri-cornered point, rather than a blunt, round point. These needles are ideal for moccasin construction, sewing on buckskin, and any heavy sewing.
Size 1 is the largest, size 12 the smallest.  These are size 1, Large.   Length is 48.5mm, 1.90", .040 Diameter (thousandths of an inch.)
These are made by John James in England, and there are 25 needles in the package.
