    Description

    1958 Disneyland Certificate Of Appreciation To The "Anaheim Choraleers, For An Outstanding Contribution To The 4th Annual Disneyland (Christmas) Holiday Festival, 1958."  The Choraleers were apparently a Choral group who sang Christmas Carols around the park, and gave concerts during the Festival for attendees.  The certificate is parchment paper, but it has been Perma-Plaqued, which permanently adheres it to the wood plaque, and it has a layer of lacquer over it to permanently protect the paper. It was common to do that at the time, I even had my College Graduation Certificate perma-plaqued a few years later.  The size of the certificate is 10" by 8", and the wood plaque is 12 1/4" by 10 1/4".  The condition of the plaque overall is good, but it has obvious surface marks and scratches in the lacquer, yet the certificate and wood are undamaged.  Undoubtedly a rare early Disneyland item.
